We're not even half way through the year, but I knew at the very beginning it would be close to magical.
Magical is exactly how this last project felt!
I, Imani Clark, of Urban Fashion Sense was contracted to be the Official PR Consultant For Former Pro Basketball Player Haron 'H2O' Hargrave's Ballin' 4 Peace Basketball Tournament in Queens, New York City....
While I knew it would be phenomenal with all the greatness which occured; I had NO IDEA, someone would be moved enough to charter a Jet just to make it to the game!

If you didn't have the chance to make it out on April 21st to Elmcor, you missed an extraordinary action-packed sports show.
With 8 hours of Non-Stop activities, we produced a Youth segment which included, a Basketball Clinic Training hosted by the Junior Knicks, as well as a Youth Game (Team H2oBasketball vs Team Dream) and Young DJ Annie Red spinning beats for Julie Winter and Tayhanna Walcott's performances.
We also took this time to honor Hargrave's life-long Coach and Mentor Mr. Charles Coleman of B.A.C.E Sports Management.
It was truly an honor to also have Elmhurts' 21 District Councilman Francisco Moya come out to commemorate the Proclammation from the City of New York.
Wonda Music Artist Amera J capped the Youth segment as headliner.
And that was only have of the action!
Around 4PM, celebrity guest and players for the main event began to arrive, and receive photo / press ops to interview with over 40 media outlets.
During this time we held the Dunk Contest with Evin Barlett and Mike Kaufman, sponsored by Real Fans Real Talk with Max Pearce winning the trophy and $500!!
Talent such as Love and Hip Hop's Kiyanne, Mr. Commodore, Shiggy, Jaquae, 2 Milly & D. Chamberz were able to catch up, have a laugh, network and grab a bite to eat in our VIP area.
We were gracious to also have the beautiful Melissa B, sing the National Anthem along with Candice Jay's Daughter Maddison.... 👏 .... And a performance by Kid Capri's daughter Vina Love.
OMG! Then you have the game.... Team Peace VS Team Equality. (The image below is the final team rooster - it wasn't the initial plan. Let us know your thoughts in the comment section below).
Being a super supporter of H2O I just knew Team Peace was gonna win the game but boy was I wrong! Team Equality led by Coach Darnell Roy Robinson of Sugarhill Records and First Family of Hip Hop took the crown! 🏆
They came to play, on their feet the whole time they were'nt giving in.

Tristan Jass stole the show with a crazy shot followed by Yalee's floor surf celebration. INSANE!!!
Filayyyy, DJ WebStar and White Iverson contributed to an amazing game which included some fancy footwork by Yvng Swag.
Fatboy SSE surprised us by showing up right before the game began. Initally he was supposed to be on H2O's team but recently got hurt and arrived on crutches.
Fatboy SSE received custom socks from our sponsor Silky Socks!
It was admirable of him to still show up.

The night ended with sweetest gesture of all - a surprise marriage proposal from White Iverson!!!!
After going ham and bustin' azz on the court, he proposed in the middle of the court to his longtime girlfriend and of course she said yes! 😃
