This Summer I'm Getting A Foster Child...

....TEE SHIRT! DUH!

Meet Clayton Foster, a 28yr old, t-shirt designer. Foster was born in St. Vincent, West Indies, but has resided in Brooklyn, NY, most of his life. Growing up in New York, he studied business and knew he wanted to start his own. He decided to pursue fashion. "I felt like stuff out there was boring and wanted to create my own-
 Foster Child Collection" said Foster.

 "I just wanted to be different, [and others] around me was doing it." As an inspiration for graphic logo designs, Foster researches the it color of the season. "I choose colors based on what's hot/what everyone is fein'n for."   

Foster admits to be successful in this business, you have to hustle. "It's your brand. If you don't do it, who else is gonna do it?" asks Foster. "Everybody have they own opinion [but], if you support me, i'll support you. ONE HAND WASHES ANOTHER."

Foster Child clothing was previously featured in a St. Vincent fashion show, on July 30, 2011. The theme was to bring New York to St. Vincent, and St. Vincent to New York. 

The show was very successful and displayed a great quality of fashion. "My cousin was a model and put me on to the show", said Foster. He now runs his line with the assistance of his girlfriend Stacey Williams. "In four years, I wanna see people wearing my brand, like i'm changing fashion", Foster explains

"You just gotta be unique."
