DeLorean Motor Company Takes Us Back To The Future with A Sleek New Model and NFT Auction

The automobile known as the "Back To The Future Car" or The DeLorean; became a phenomena about 40 years ago, and remains highly regarded as a top contender, in American designed sports cars today.

It's no secret,  DeLorean Motor Company (DMC) played a major role in the Sci-Fi Trilogy, Back To Future .

Fans worldwide couldn't get enough of the action packed plot, the characters Marty McFly (Michael J. Fox) and Doc Brown (Christopher Lloyd), the slick Nikes, and most importantly; the futuristic car, with doors that lifted up like wings... in the 80s!?

DeLorean Motor Company had rave reviews in the box office and mainstream media.  

John DeLorean, DMC CEO, became a beloved mogul, known for his inventions... and scandals....  Fast forward to 2019, Netflix released the documentary; 'Framing John DeLorean'.  

In the film, Alec Baldwin portrays the disgraced Engineer, and his rise and fall is ironically depicted on screen.

Coincidently, around the same time, I captured a video of a retro DeLorean in New York City, decked out with LED lights, proving the impact of the box office hit movie and DMC's influence today.

The new model is slated for a 2024 launch date.  DMC plans to release 88-units as an homage to the Back To The Future franchise.
