The Coolest Way To Gain Delta SkyMiles In 2020

I gained 500+
Delta SkyMiles in less than four months without taking a flight!

The video above explains how I did that (sorry I removed the video), but here's a little background to why I think this is so COOL!

Back in my college days, bank representatives would stand outside my school at Lehman College in The Bronx, New York and get students to sign up for an account.

I chose an account with CitiBank (which I still love to this day 😉), through my account I was able to acquire American Airline miles with my debit card.

You read correctly! Miles with a DEBIT CARD! I really gained miles on purchases with a DEBIT CARD and actually went on flights with those miles!

Sadly American Airlines eventually ended the partnership with Citibank and I wasn't able to collect miles on purchases any more. 😕

*Sidebar, I've been looking for another debit card/bank to gain airline miles with, however; I haven't found one. *

Fast-forward to 2019 - 2020, I signed up for Delta SkyMiles and learned about a cool way to gain air miles with ride-shares!

I love these types of incentives! We're in the era of ride-shares so it's a no brainer that Delta has partnered with Lyft as an incentive for SkyMiles members to gain miles with rides.

Watch the video above to learn more about how I gained over 5,000 SkyMiles in less than 1 year, with only 1 round trip flight!

Another cool tip: Delta allows you to add any Delta Airline flight to your miles, whether it was purchased directly through the airlines or not.

So basically, any 3rd party purchase such as Orbitz or Expedia can be added - as long as it's a Delta flight!  TOO 🆒
