Minimal Sophistication: Amanda Maria - Interactive 'Ready-To-Wear Fall/Winter 2016 Lookbook' Is Here

Scrolling my Instagram timeline inspired me to research this designer.  

The modest, minimalist black and white designs immediately caught my eye while searching for NYFW shows earlier this year.

I'm usually a colorful person, but I've be on dark solids lately.  Navy Blue and Military Green are favorites at the moment....  And Black and White is ALWAYS sophisticated.

Unfortunately, I wasn't able to attend the Pret-a-Porter NYFW show, but had to know more about this collection and designer.

Amanda Maria Fashion Fall/Winter 2016 Collection was designed by Canadian native, Amanda Maria Matthews, an emerging young designer, who recently graduated from Fanshawe College's Fashion Program in 2014.

Matthews' believes in designing comfortable modern, staple pieces, for fashion-forward women.

"My designs are made with comfort in mind, and the belief that even the most fashionable outfits can be easy to wear....   I’m thrilled to have been invited to show at New York Fashion Week; it has been on ‘the list’ since the launch in 2014, so it was a fabulous opportunity to fast-track and debut my favourite collection to date."  - Amanda Matthews

This collection represents the modest-sexy woman; in my opinion. 

Alot of the pieces are versatile.  You can dress them up or dress them down for day and night outings.

I'm looking forward to seeing her next show.
