Young Urban Males- Fitted Caps/Hats #2

Fellas! I love that you guys take pride in your fitted (baseball caps). But they don't always go with everything.

There are some outfits you can crush without them. For instance, if you have on a button down (woven) shirt, jeans and shoes, you don't need to wear a fitted! It doesn't look right.

Not to mention, some of you guys just don't need them. I know a lot of you wear fitteds thinking it makes you look better, but to be honest; some of you look better without the fitted.

You can rock a nice hair cut or some braids, and look just as good. For some, wearing a fitted looks like your trying too hard. I know some of y'all wear it for protection, from the sun or the cold, BUT those who just rock it for style think twice... 'cause you might not need it.

Sometimes messes up your hair-line (front and back)....

Also, I don't see the point in leaving the sticker label on your fitteds. To prove that it's real? That's just extra!

It was silly to leave the New Era size label, on the hat; but the whole manufacturing label is pretty excessive.

Speaking of head wear, wearing du-rags as fashion; is old. You should only wear a du-rag if you're trying to get waves, going to sleep, or trying to keep your braids neat. I don't understand the point of wearing a du-rag under your fitted.

Celebrities who look good with/without a fitted cap/hat:
Ray-J, Pharrell, Trey Songs, Mario, Polow Da Don, Bow Wow, Lupe Fiasco, Usher, Maino, Jody Breeze, A-Rod.

  1. Lol... guys are still so serious about their fitted staying fresh and crisp, but I agree that a guy that looks good enough without one, doesn't have need to wear one that often
